Running Events
At Children Today we have a varied programme of running events to suit all ages and abilities. Running is a fantastic and popular way to fundraise for Children Today. Not only would the run benefit you by helping you to keep fit and active, but you will find it extremely rewarding knowing that you are supporting a great charity.
Your sponsorship money will help us to provide specialised equipment, improving the lives of disabled children living throughout the uk.
“My name is Luke and I am 8. I am very excited because I have a new wheelchair that will help me and my family have a much better life. I can go out more easily with my friends and not have to be taken everywhere - I couldn’t wait for the wheelchair to arrive! I have Cerebral Palsy which is why I need this wheelchair and I know there are lots of other children who have disabilities who need equipment like this. I would like to say ‘thank you’ to the charity which helped me to get my chair, Children Today, and to the people who gave
them money to buy it.”
This picture shows Luke’s fantastic new wheelchair which was provided with funds raised last year. If you run for us we will do everything we can to support you in your training and your fundraising activity, so together we can help more children like Luke next year.
