Police Credit Union

Children Today is delighted to have been chosen as the official charity partner for the Police Credit Union for the next three years.

The Police Credit Union is a not for profit financial services operation dedicated exclusively to helping the police family – serving and retired police officers, police staff and members of their households.

With 15,000 members, the PCU covers 16 Police Forces with 7 regional branch offices covering England and Wales.

Peter Evans, Chief Executive of the PCU

“There is a commonly held belief that if a disabled child needs an item of specialised equipment it will be provided by the social services or the NHS.  This is not true.   In fact, the lack of equipment supplied to disabled children and young people in this country is dire.  It is almost always left to the parents or guardians to find the money and provide.  This is where Children Today can be such a lifeline.  We are delighted to be supporting this important charity that is doing such vital work in our local communities across the UK”.

Alan Dodd, Chief Executive of Children Today

“It is a great boost for Children Today to have been chosen by

The PCU as its official charity and we’re looking forward to working with the staff and members across the UK to raise our profile and, of course, funds for deserving children”.

“This is without doubt potentially one of the most important and lucrative partnerships the charity has ever had.  We are enormously grateful to you all”.
